Standard Hourly Lessons
Standard hourly lessons are always available. We recommend a minimum of two hours per week, preferably taken together. You will benefit more from a single two hour session than you will from two separate one hour sessions, thus making your lessons more cost effective to you.
Motorway lessons
Designed for drivers who are nervous about driving on busy motorways.
Pass Plus
Recommended by the Driving Standards Agency for newly
qualified drivers. This course enhances your skills further and make you
a better and safer driver. Many insurance companies offer substantial discounts of up to 30% to drivers who have completed this course and these discounts
often more than make up for the course fees.
Refresher Courses
If you are a full licence holder but have not driven for a number of years you may be nervous about getting back behind the wheel. A course of refresher lessons can help you regain your confidence and equip you for driving on today’s busy highways.
Lessons charged at the standard hourly rate.
Intensive Driving Courses
Intensive courses are available but please bear the following points in mind when deciding if an intensive course is the right choice for you.
Driving for long periods is tiring, stressful, and demands an extremely high level of concentration. We therefore do not recommend learners driving more than four hours in any one day, with a break half way through. After this your concentration level is likely to be low and any further time spent at the wheel will be of small benefit. We also recommend a minimum of 40 hours professional instruction before attempting your practical test.
All our intensive courses are structured with these onsiderations in mind, and all tuition is on a one to one basis. Our standard course is designed to take you from beginner to test standard, but if you have already had some professional tuition, shorter courses can be tailored to your existing level of experience.
We will attempt to book a practical test for the last day of your course but please note that this is not always possible, depending on test centre availability.
Theory and Hazard Perception
Your preparation for the theory and hazard perception test is best done using home study methods, but our instructors are always happy to advise on all aspects of this test and answer all your queries. We will also advise you on the best home study materials to use
